Together with his favorite toy rabbit he sets off
for Somewhere Else
A play for children of 6 and up (and their parents, very suitable for
a family audience).
In the lighthearted, humorous and visual style that is characteristic
of Speeltheater Holland the story is played by puppets, puppeteers and
a musician. During 60 minutes the audience is taken on a journey full
of surprising obstacles to make the wish of a resolute little boy come
true.
Speeltheater Holland developed this play in 1996.
It toured around Holland and Flanders and other countries in Europe
for several years. In 1997 it had a successful run in the New Victory
Theatre in New York.
In 2002 the artistic team of Speeltheater recreated Nicky Somewhere
Else for the Seattle Children's Theatre.
